Colby:
You were not get in Grandma's good graces this past weekend. While playing the card game "Old Maid" you told grandma Nancy "You should be the old maid...cause you look like her!" Made all of us laugh...well except grandma.
Here are some pictures of you in your Star Wars tie looking good for the wedding:
Love you!

Stanley Cup (again)!
Dear Colby,
For the second time, you got to be in contact with the greatest trophy in sports, Lord Stanley's Cup! Here are a couple of pictures:
Funny story from a few days ago. You were trying to sneak up on a rabbit in the backyard. When you were about 5 steps away, you stopped to make a loud toot. To my surprise, the rabbit didn't move! You crack me up sometimes!
Love you,
Dad

Crusin'!
Colby,
We went on our first cruise together with Kelsey's family. On the trip, you learned to swim by yourself for the first time! It was a great trip and highlighted for me when you called me "the bestest daddy ever!"
Here are a few pictures from the trip:

Father's Day 2015
Hi Colby:
This year I had a great Father's Day thanks to you. We played a ton of baseball and you made me a "Super Daddy" key chain. Here are pictures of us putting up my other father's day gift from Kelsey:
A big memory for me was that this past weekend was the very first time you and I played catch with a real baseball. It is amazing how much you have developed as a little player. Oh, and you were the star of the t-ball game getting a hit in every inning and playing a fantastic first base. Here is a picture from t-ball:
Thank you again for a great Father's Day in 2015!
Love,
Dad
Ps: Thought a funny story from a few weeks back. We were playing red light/green light driving game where we kept track of how many green lights we hit vs. red lights. You were cheering for more green. The day I am remembering, it was close between greens and reds. You leaned over in the back seat and saw a green light ahead and said "Hey, speed up!"
That's my boy!

Go Hawks
Colby:
Last weekend we had a great time going to the Museum of Science and Industry and the United Center for the high school hockey championships. Here are a couple of pics (you got to go in the Hawks locker room too!):
You also won a Coach Q signed puck in the DePaul raffle:

Later you were wearing the Fanny Pack giveaway with the puck inside. You had to go to the bathroom so you announced "I am taking this off because it is blocking my p..." Good head on your shoulders there buddy!
Love you,
Dad

Christmas 2014
Colby,
I had a great time with you over the Christmas season. Three memories really stick out:
1. I took you bowling for the first time. You loved it but what really impressed me was how into it you were. When it wasn't your turn, you would go get your red ball from the rack and sit with it on your lap. You made sure everyone knew when their turn was up. Here is a picture:
2. You got a husker jersey and helmet for Christmas. You refused to take it off for several days. You even wore it on the plane to Omaha (apparently it was not a security threat at the airport). Here is a picture:

3. We went to an Omaha Lancers game. You had been excited for weeks to go. For the next few days you kept telling everyone the score (3-2, Lancers in a shootout).
Love you and Merry Christmas,
Dad
